Seattle University Conversations, the quarterly series presented by the Department of Public Affairs and Nonprofit Leadership, brings local, regional, and national leaders to the stage for in-depth discussions on critical current issues.
Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson and King County Executive Girmay Zahilay join this edition of Seattle University Conversations. The newly elected leaders discuss their approaches to some of the region’s biggest challenges, including surveillance, homelessness, budgets, and taxes, while also reflecting on the diversity of the Seattle area and the limits of political labels.
